The Latest Version of TCMS V2.1.2 – Version M
FingerTec is pleased to announce the new release of TCMS v2.1.2 version M. Jumping from version H; this version of TCMS contains more powerful functions in both time attendance and access control.
 
Cater 6-digits User ID from the current 5
In all the previous versions, the user ID is limited to only 5 digits (00001 ~ 65534). However in larger and more complex working environments; their users IDs are based on departments or levels which requiring longer digits ID. Version M is able to support user ID from 000001 to 999999. The reader’s firmware must be upgraded in order to support 6-digit before attempting to enroll users. The next plan of FingerTec is to expand the ID to 9-digit to cater to different segment of the market.
Redefine Administrator password and Login password
The version M revises the authority of administrator password and login password. In this new version, user who starts TCMS by a login password can only view attendance sheet and user information, preview and print all kinds of report, and check attendance history. This move is made to increase the level of security of user information and transaction records, to avoid unauthorized edit or deletion of the database. Only those who are having administrator passwords could carry out all operations in the software.
Generate Fire-Roll call reports
The new version allows allocation of a shortcut button to print a fire-roll report. The report will show users who are still in a zone during emergency. This report only works if you installed an In-Out reader system. The In-Out reader system is a system where you have records of users who are entering a zone and users are required to verify their fingerprints to leave a zone. TCMS V2 constantly checks users who are entering and leaving the zone by gathering transaction logs from these 2 readers. The report will ONLY display the user ID of any person who has not checked out from a zone.
Manually enroll user into Fingerprint Management

All the while, users must enroll fingerprint, password, or RFID cards at the reader. TCMS V2 then download all information from readers to create user database. An option of enrolling fingerprint via OFIS scanner is also available but this option does not allow enrollment of password and RFID cards. In version M, you can create new user, insert his/her password or RFID cards ID into TCMS V2, directly, which later could be uploaded to the designated readers. With this upgrade, users do not need to enroll one by one at the reader for their passwords and RFID cards.

Define password for Department Head to access into TCMS V2 Viewer
In the new version, you can assign a unique password for Department Heads. He/she can access to TCMS V2 Viewer using the given password, to preview and to print reports of all members in his particular department. The Department Head is made aware of his staff’s attendance without having to request the information from administration or Human resource department.
Print of Users List from Each Reader
In the previous version, TCMS V2 did not group users into a name list to be printed. Information of users who are using specific reader is not available unless you get the information from Fingerprint Management. To simplify the operation, version M allows you to print user name list of each reader. In terminal user control page, you can choose to preview users in a certain reader and print the information as a report.
Run online monitoring in selective readers

Terminal data audit list is advantageous for online monitoring process. This feature allows you to check details of users who verify at which readers. The software is “online” with all readers concurrently. The start up process of this page takes longer time if there are more readers to connect, and some of them might not be as important to monitor. In Version M, TCMS V2 allows user to define the reader to connect to and from which page to start. This can shorten the start up time and speed up the monitoring process.
