FingerTec Worldwide recently participated in ISC Brasil Trade Show 2008 to showcase FingerTec® fingerprint products to potential distributors, in this largest and most populous country in South America. Brazil, the country famous for its coffee and football is also known to have growing demands for security products including for biometrics technology for time attendance and door access control system. The ISC Brasil was not the biggest security show held in Sao Paulo, but it certainly was the niche for the industry players. FingerTec® products made their debut in Brazil and as expected, i-Kiosk 100 gained the most attention for its stylish design, multimedia display and its multifunction. FingerTec® R2, TA100 and OFIS attracted visitors to the booth as well besides the availability of marketing strategies provided by FingerTec Worldwide. With the aid from a local translator, Ms Sheila Martins, FingerTec Worldwide gained a considerable amount of enquiries for business opportunities from the Brazilian players. As language is an important contributing factor to be successful in Brazil, Ms Sheila Martins has been hired as a correspondence for FingerTec® in Brazil. FingerTec Worldwide Managing Director, Mr. Teh Hon Seng and General Manager for Hong Kong and Taiwan regional operation, Mr. Eric See, were present during the show.
