Krystal Electronic Technologies Partners With FingerTec

The Caribbean is one of the loveliest archipelagos on earth with its exotic vacation spots and its long stretches of white sandy beaches. All year round it attracts a lot of tourists from varied nations. This year FingerTec finds itself a new partner from the Caribbean.

Krystal Electronic Technologies Ltd. is a fairly new FingerTec reseller from St. Kitts & Nevis, West Indies. Even before they did their first FingerTec installation, they were already convinced of the product viability of FingerTec. They knew that it was a brand they can count on

and a brand that would attract more projects and more clients in the West Indies. Krystal Electronic Technologies Ltd. has been in the security industry since 1998 when they started their business in the UK. They put up a branch in St. Kitts & Nevis two years ago.

Krystal Electronic Technologies Ltd. has been selling cctv and various security products long before they decided to venture into biometrics. They learned about FingerTec through visiting IFSEC 2009, the fire and security expo held in Birmingham on May of this year, and was impressed with FingerTec’s showcase of different fingerprint models for time attendance and door access.

AC900

Their first installation with FingerTec units was with the AC900 series. They installed it in the St. Kitts & Nevis Police Headquarters, which just happens to be one of their best customers. The FingerTec AC900 series was basically installed at the headquarters for access control in the headquarters’ restricted areas. The staff had been previously using keys and codes but with FingerTec AC900, not only was the installation quick and uncomplicated, it also made managing restricted areas easier and with hassle-free. According to Mr. Joel Dupont, Krystal Electronic Technologies Ltd.’s general manager, all it took was 15 minutes to set up the system after watching the hardware video guide for the AC900. The St. Kitts Police Headquarters are happy with the FingerTec AC900 as the system is very easy to manage. From keys and codes to just fingerprint verification, their work has indeed been simplified by this powerful machine.

Krystal Electronic is currently doing tests on the i-Kiosk 100, FingerTec’s colour multimedia fingerprint terminal for time attendance and access control, and is planning to set it up at one of their client’s offices soon.
