By Mr. Curtis Tan, Sales Manager, FingerTec Worldwide

FingerTec had great success at the 2012 edition of ISC East Conference in New York City. During the trade show, the company showcased its access control & Biometric time clocks.

FingerTec USA was present at the recent ISC East Conference, the largest annual security convention in the Northeast United States. They exhibited at booth 1843 in the Javits Center on November 28-29th, 2012. At the event, emphasis was given on the security features of the biometric access control fingerprint and facial recognition time clocks as well as the various benefits of the products offered.

“We were pleased to be able to attend this prestigious security symposium because the ISC East Conference will bring together important people in the industry. Not only were we able to network with other dealers, but we were able to meet with the top security experts at companies that can truly benefit from our employee clock in software, making this an event that is uniquely suited for FingerTec USA,” said Ryan King, a technical manager for the company.

Businessmen attending the conference were given the privilege to learn about multimedia biometric access control such as the FingerTec Q2i, which combines attendance features with security advancements. The Q2i is equipped with multiple verification methods including fingerprint, password, and RFID card options. The attendance system allows employees to easily clock in for work and also acts as an effective door access system. One of the businessmen happened to be former New York Yankee and Met great David Cohen!

The biggest hit by far was the FaceID4. Visitors were fascinated by the quick enrollment process and high accuracy rate it showed. This facial recognition unit can store up to 100,000 transactions and 400 face templates. It also features a touch screen control panel with an integrated infrared camera display. As an added benefit, this facial recognition time clock also supports Wi-Fi and GPRS for fast and seamless transfers of data. The public was very impressed by its sleek design and small size which makes the device perfect for any office.

For customers who want a door access and attendance system that does not require a card, FingerTec USA offered the FingerTec H2i biometric access control. This employee clock-in software uses a fingerprint algorithm and minutiae matching technique to identify individuals and to ensure that only authorized persons are admitted, which addresses concerns about the misuse of cards and keys. The fingerprint identification device can be used for security as well as for time tracking purposes.

FingerTec USA would like to thank their partners worldwide for all their input and help with the show. They were very happy to represent the FingerTec brand once again at the ISC East show and look forward to doing so again next year.
