Kinokuniya Malaysia Impressed with FingerTec Time Attendance System

Kinokuniya is a renowned international bookshop chain from Japan, founded in 1927, with its first store located in Shinjuku, Tokyo. The name Kinokuniya conveys the meaning "Store of Kii Province" and it is recognized as AsianBasis Sdn Bhd in Malaysia, serving as the online retail division of the Books Kinokuniya group. With more than 80 stores in Japan and overseas, Kinokuniya stays ahead of its competitors by stocking up on over 20,000 book titles from both the Japanese and international publications as well as art books, magazines, DVDs, CDs and stationery.
 
The Malaysian Kinokuniya outlet is located in Suria KLCC, a prestigious shopping mall located in a high volume commercial area which sees an average of 100,000 visitors daily. As such, keeping track of the attendance and hours worked by each of the staff was proving to be a challenge to the administrative department. As a result, they chose to meet up with one of our dedicated resellers, PC Mart Sdn Bhd to decide on a suitable time attendance solution.
 
Subsequently, they chose to use a fingerprint device over a proximity badge, favouring its distinctive features such as easy data management and effortless system implementation. Staff of Kinokuniya highly approved the TA102C, remarking the ease of usage of the time attendance system and needing less time to clock in and out of work each day. Previously, they are using a manual clock and this has resulted in issues such as long queues to punch in for work and cases of buddy punching.
 
Kinokuniya also expressed its satisfaction towards the complimentary software that is bundled with the TA102C. The TCMS V2 automates more than half the work that previously needed to be completed manually. For example, prior to this administration will take a great amount of time as administration to track the attendance of each staff individually. This issue has since been banished with TCMS V2 as reports can be generated without hassle rendering the process of reviewing the overall staff performance a breeze.
