| In the quiet dawn of March 13, Category 5 hurricane Cyclone Pam hit the island nation of Vanuatu causing devastation to 22 storm-affected islands, impacting thousands of people. Over the last few weeks, aid agencies have rushed to the aid and support of the victims whose lives were affected by the destructive cyclone with food and health aid. As concerns continue to rise for the safety and well-being of the residents of this Southern Pacific island, ongoing food and water shortages along with the lack of proper shelter have worsened the situation for the survivors on the tropical island. In view of the devastation, FingerTec is humbled to extend a token of monetary aid to help ease burdens of the 5 families, staff of our Vanuatu’s reseller Fung Kuei, that are affected by Cyclone Pam. We are saddened by the news and we hope that Vanuatu is on its way to fast recovery.
