Secutech Taiwan 2014 was recently held at the Taipei Nangang, Exhibition Center on 19 – 21 March and is the world’s leading security show in Asia. With over 510 exhibitors from 19 different countries and regions, the 3-day event served as a platform for security manufacturers to build long-term partnership with buyers. The exhibition also presented a complete security supplier chain ranging from components to solutions catered specifically for the security and safety industry.

This is an annual event for FingerTec to showcase its new products and bestseller range, which included Face ID 3, Face ID 4, R2 and TA100C to the local and international guests of the show. The Face ID series attracted the attention of most visitors as face recognition systems are now in demand in Taiwan market, even more so than the fingerprint technology. With its contactless verification, fast enrollment and verification speed, the Face ID series could potentially be a biometrics system of choice for many. The ability of Face ID series to store more face template from 400 to 1200 is another improvement that pleases those who are interested.

FingerTec products come in various languages of the world and to accommodate the local visitors, the terminals on display were embedded with Simplified and Traditional Chinese language. TimeTec Cloud was introduced as the attendance solution of the future, taking advantage of the simplicity and effectiveness of cloud deployment and Ingressus controllers were positioned as an economical advanced access control system for security companies interested in access control industry.

All in all, the exhibition was an important event for FingerTec as we were able to reach out to a wider and international audience in providing them a high quality biometric time attendance and door access hardware and solutions.
